Event Coordinator Assistant

Job Summary:
Randolph-Macon College is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Special Events Worker to join our Physical Plant Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of various college events, including setup, marking athletic fields, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and preparation for college events, including audio-visual equipment and special event logistics.
- Mark athletic fields and ensure accurate field layouts for events.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the Auxiliary Services Supervisor and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 50lbs, as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience in special events setup and commercial audio-visual equipment preferred.
- Ability to work as a team player and independently, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
