JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The basic function of the Purchasing Agent is to work closely with the Purchasing Manager and assist to procure, expedite and schedule deliveries of materials and services to jobsite.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
• Prepare list of inventory items
• Verify and schedule delivery of items to the job site
• Maintain a record of all the purchases
• Work with suppliers to ensure availability of needed products
• Track and organize all receipts
• Possess energy and enthusiasm for learning the building process and spending time on construction sites
• Desire to learn the process of related departments (land acquisition, development, operations etc.)
• Communicate effectively with construction personnel, superintendents and coworkers
• Ability to interpret and understand building plans and product information
• Ability to multitask and deliver in a fast paced environment
• Ensure all end customers are satisfied

EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related degree
• Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
• Ability to gather and analyze data and work figures
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills
• Great attention to detail a must
