Job Summary:

DH Pace Company, a leading distributor of door and door-related products, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, reading and analyzing documents, and ensuring timely and accurate orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing materials per job specifications
  • Reading and analyzing documents to successfully administer online order systems
  • Consolidating requests, checking pricing and discounts, and placing accurate orders
  • Maintaining constant communication with vendors and project managers
  • Processing order acknowledgements for product correctness, quantity accuracy, and pricing verification

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Computer proficiency, including strong background in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Good organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with contacts at all levels
