[Job Summary]

The Account Manager at iKamper is responsible for driving sales growth through engaging with dealers, analyzing data, and making strategic recommendations. This role involves increasing sales among existing customers, introducing new products, forecasting sales, and improving business performance based on financial data from ERP. Building strong dealer relationships, ensuring effective merchandising, resolving customer concerns, and providing customer insights to internal teams are key duties. Additionally, the Account Manager participates in trade shows, conducts retail employee training, collaborates with internal teams to exceed customer expectations, and monitors competition to maintain market leadership.

[Main Responsibility]

  1. Sales Generation and Org. Mgmt.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to interpret sales data for performance management, develop actionable insights, and drive sales growth.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior management and sales teams to optimize sales processes and strategies, including monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
  • Responsible for generating, soliciting, and submitting future orders for applicable dealers
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of sales trends and performance against targets, implementing corrective actions and strategic initiatives to address underperformance.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers, in collaboration with the marketing team to create customized offers for specific customer segments.
  • Create compelling sales pitches and proposals to convert prospects into iKAMPER dealers and cultivate strong relationships through regular follow-ups and personalized engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential dealers in new and existing markets, developing and executing strategic outreach plans to engage new prospects.
  • Guide potential dealers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to becoming iKAMPER dealers.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, monitoring their performance and adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize success.
  • Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future sales trends, collaborating with finance and logistics & ops teams to ensure accurate sales forecasts and adjusting based on market conditions, competitive activity, and sales trends.
  • Develop and implement incentive programs with Director of Sales to motivate and reward high-performing sales representatives, fostering a collaborative environment to share best practices and strategies.
  • Review and analyze profit and loss statements to understand the financial performance of sales operations, identifying areas of high costs and low revenue generation to develop improvement strategies, and presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive profitability.
  • Research and identify potential new customers and business opportunities, developing strategic plans to attract and acquire new customers and exploring new markets and sales channels to expand the business footprint.
  1. Market & Network Expansion
  • Plan and execute participation in industry trade shows, expos, and events, representing iKAMPER professionally while showcasing products and engaging with potential customers and partners.
  • Network with industry professionals to build relationships and explore new business opportunities, delivering training sessions in person, online, or through training materials, and monitoring their effectiveness while providing additional support as needed.
  • Provide quotes for prospective customers.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction, sharing customer insights and market trends to inform internal strategies.
  • Research and evaluate potential new markets and sales channels, developing and implementing strategies to enter new markets and expand reach, and exploring partnerships and collaborations to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand market positioning and trends, developing strategies to differentiate iKAMPER products and maintain a competitive edge, and sharing competitive intelligence with internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards, offering support and resources to optimize product displays and in-store promotions.
  • Provide quotes to prospective dealers and write suggested orders for existing dealers when needed.
  • Schedule regular check-ins and meetings with dealers to discuss performance, address any concerns, and share updates on new products, promotions, and company initiatives.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through personalized interactions and exceptional service.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback from various channels (e.g., surveys, direct interactions), sharing insights with product development, marketing, and sales teams to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement in products and services.
[Job Requirement]
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experiences.
  • Retails sales experiences and/or Customer experiences is preferred.
  • Wholesale experience is required
  • 3 years of wholesale sales experience in the outdoor or sporting goods industry
  • In the office 4 days a week.
  • Prefer candidate with retail experience or customer service experience
  • Demonstrated record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing NetSuite ERP.
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in decision-making, and critical thinking, enabling effective sales strategies and issue resolution.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, and stakeholders.
  • Capability to develop strategies and implement tactics that drive results in sales and customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, collaborative team player with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • 25% of Travel and participation for company events.
