Join our YMCA family as a Part-Time Child Activity Center Leader

Are you passionate about creating a positive and vibrant environment for kids? Do you have a knack for turning playtime into a magical experience? If so, we want YOU to be a part of our CAC team

As a Part-Time Child Activity Center Leader you will spend your time sparking joy through creative and interactive play sessions with kids (0-11 years old) while their grown-ups use our facilities. While ensuring the safety and well-being of our youngest members, you and your teammates will work together to foster a fun and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and development.

Requirements:

  • Strong character values (respect, responsibility, honesty, caring).
  • A ton of enthusiasm for fun and creativity.
  • A love for working with children and their unique personalities.
  • Previous experience working with children and their grown-ups (infants, toddlers, preschool and/or school-age) in a drop-in group setting (preferred).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross, ASHI, or the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire). Online only courses are not accepted.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Availability for weekend and afternoon/evening hours.
