Job Description

This position will experience a rotation between four teams in the District's Information Technology Department that will give the candidate real world knowledge and experience of various IT functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Technology Team
  • Participate in requirements elicitation sessions with users and other IT professionals for new development and support of enterprise applications such as Oracle Fusion, Maximo, UKG Ready and ARC GIS and UI Path RPA.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for new development and bug fixes.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to provide project status and gather feedback.
Service Delivery Team
  • Respond to inquiries to the Service Desk from users throughout the District, via phone, email and our Service Management application with a focus on first contact resolution.
  • Assist with asset management through the tracking, deployment and retrieval of equipment such as laptops and mobile devices.
Network Team
  • Assist in the monitoring of network performance and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
  • Analyze network requirements and set up computer networks in one or across several of the Districts seven locations within the St. Louis Area.
  • Configure computer hardware and software for optimal network communication.
Security Team
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to identify and resolve security concerns.
  • Utilize various security tools to scan and monitor the District's technology environment.
  • Review security assessments for new technology being considered and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Qualifications

Training and Experience:
  • Must be a Senior at an accredited college or university, majoring in IT or other technology field.
  • Fall semester, August 2024 - December 2024.
  • Available to work onsite at MSD Headquarters 15-25 hours per week.
  • Rate: $22/hour
