Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team for a 9 month contract engagement. The following requirements must be met in order to be considered: 3+ years of experience working with Third Party Administrators supporting Mergers and Acquisitions, specifically within a healthcare or health plan domain 3 + years of experience gathering requirements, creating process work flows, and working with cross functional teams. Experience working within Agile or SAFe environments. Prior experience in Healthcare Operations systems and procedures (Claims, benefit, Customer service) is preferable. Experience in performing operational assessment, identifying operational gaps, creating data flow diagrams, process flow chart, activity flows and sequential diagram using MS Visio. • Serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of M&A transactions • Experience working with multiple vendors • Experience writing high level business requirements, features and user stories • Will be a liaison between the project team and value stream teams • Working with various stakeholders to identify scope, help the product owners in analyzing the business domain, creating the product backlog and grooming the product backlog. • Flexibility to manage multiple workstreams and value streams • Excellent Communication and leadership skills Job Description: This is a Sr. Business analyst role (clear communicator, strong coordinator with the business, critical thinker in helping to usher action aligning to Gather Business Requirements, conduct change management recommendations and business processes). Develop and analyze business and user requirements for clarity, completeness, scope, and technical feasibility. Decompose business and user requirements into system and software functional requirements. Define system quality and operational attributes, external interfaces, constraints, rules, and other non-functional requirements. Develop use cases that describe the system's/applications intended functional behavior and serve as SME. Facilitate agile methodologies within the team Create user stories and facilitate Jad sessions • Identifies and facilitates key documentation and collateral to be used as part of solutioning • Coordinates within and across tracks to make sure dependencies are resolved. • Coordinates activities and efforts of track team, including meeting management, track team communications, tracking of action items, etc. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Strong Communicator and stakeholder Management. Must also be a critical thinker and take ownership over their work and career. Lead requirement definition, validation & coordination on multi-million $ projects. Discover and analyze business processes to help understand the current “As Is” and define the “To Be” states for multi-million-dollar, transformative initiatives. Produce process flows, mockups, user interface designs and other usability visuals as well as data field, migration and integration-related data mapping deliverables. Manage 15-50+ stakeholder interactions on simultaneous work-streams efforts. Build strong, cross-functional and matrixed relationships. Collaborate with business owners, capturing the “Voice of the Customer” by writing, grooming and prioritizing value-driven user stories Lead user acceptance testing to ensure stories and Waterfall-based project requirements are validated with any defects captured and resolved.
