The Role:

Define, develop and lead the implementation of a strategic and tactical reimbursement/market access function for ReActiv8, with particular focus on the US market. Collaborate with key customers, outside consultants and government agencies to define and execute the proper strategy. Define and build a market-focused team to support reimbursement efforts, build strong relationships with commercial leaders (particularly marketing and sales), and deliver a rapidly-growing coverage landscape.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Building and managing the reimbursement and market access function to serve U.S and international commercial markets, with particular focus on the U.S.
  • Lead the design and execution of the Company’s coding, coverage and payment strategy for ReActive8 therapy in all commercial markets.
  • Develop relationships in commercial markets and with government, physicians, hosptials, worker’s compensation, and commercial payer decision makers as well as KOLs.
  • Work with clinical affairs, research and other groups as required to develop the strategy for generating clinical and economic data to support reimbursment and market access decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales partners and marketing teams to provide field-based reimbursement/market access education, training and support.
  • Provide pragmatic reimbursment support to sales partners and customers such as physicians, hospitals, ASCs, investigator sites, medical speciality societies as assigned in specific geographic territory (including education and support regarding coding, coverage, billing and occasional claims auditding).
  • Build a market access team as required to partner with field organizations, drive payer coverage, and support customers.
  • Understand business needs, and build credibility and rapport with colleagues.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Comply with the policies, procedures and work instructions of the Mainstay Medical group.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience with 10+ years of management experience. Proven leader that achieves organizational objectives while building the function/sub-function.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office package and web-based applications).
  • Ability to work independently.

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000/year; however, base pay offered will take into account a range of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
