This enthusiastic professional will be the friendly face and voice of our daily operations, greeting participants, affiliates, and patrons, while directing business traffic and managing in-coming phone calls on a very busy phone line. Witco is not-for-profit human service agency serving persons with disabilities in the community for 50 years. Key responsibilities for this position: Greets, directs, communicates and interacts with clients, customers, vendors, and company personnel in a welcoming and positive manner, answering their questions, and providing information. Answers and directs incoming calls operating the multi-line phone system, screening calls and directing them to the proper person Serves as a message center for agency personnel who are out of the office or not available Provides access control: Having guests sign in and directing them to appropriate areas and personnel managing access. Welcomes and direct interview candidates to create a positive experience. Processes customer and in-house orders Point of contact for on-site technology support and repairs, being proficient with troubleshooting issues for audiovisual systems, and office equipment. Looks after special administrative projects, including overflow work from department and executive assistants Performs office duties including, but not limited to, handling incoming and outgoing mail, entering data into basic tables, reports, or spreadsheets, making copies, and monitoring and ordering office supplies Keeps the front desk and lobby organized and running smoothly. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Required. Relevant degree (e.g., Associates, Bachelor's) in fields like Business or equivalent work experience Preferred. Experience operating a multi-line phone system- Demonstrated ability to handle all reception situations that may arise with or without problems- Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Strong working knowledge of office technology, business networking and communications systems, computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. Must complete an obtain clearance for Criminal History, with fingerprinting, employment references, and pre-hire drug screen required.
