Job Title: Senior Manager, ALA Recruitment & Alumni Relations

The Senior Manager of Analyst and Litigation Assistant (ALA) Recruitment & Alumni Relations leads and oversees all aspects of recruitment & alumni relations for both the Analyst and Litigation Assistant Programs at Kobre & Kim. Both programs are aimed at entry-level graduates/early career hires.

This role includes, but is not limited to, enhancing the external reputation, internal strategic growth, and continued development of the Programs. The Senior Manager is also involved with the internship program, overall professional development and retention, and continuing to provide mentorship and oversight to the ALA population. It is a great opportunity for someone to take on a global management position covering recruitment, development and alumni relations.

Recruiting:

  • Oversee and execute on APAC, Americas & EMEA recruiting for both programs.
  • Coordinate with Program Coordinator on creating marketing materials, engaging in university outreach, attending campus career events, and benchmarking compensation.
  • Conduct data analysis to plan required headcount & future projections on data provided by Assistant Manager and Coordinator.
  • Extend verbal and written offers, oversee offer negotiations. Liaise with HR, Office Managers, Regional Managing Directors, and other departments as needed.
  • Ensure completion of all new hire onboarding and induction including the design of materials and procedures. This includes coordinating logistics with various departments and offices and communicating with new hires prior to start.
  • Handle any referral hires and communicate with Founding Partners (FPs) on the same.
  • Arrange any required visas with Office Managers or external vendors.
  • Along with ALA managers, conduct final round management interviews and determine final offers.
Retention & Professional Development:
  • Plan and manage retreats for Americas, APAC & EMEA ALAs.
  • Approve and manage big-budget program expenses & spending, including retention & professional development events.
  • Conduct bi-annual performance review meetings.
  • Evaluate internal ALA promotion criteria and assess potential candidates for promotion.
  • Oversee scholarship program. Communicate timeline, prepare materials for the Scholarship Committee, and provide recommendations.
  • Mange extended PTO/leaves or work from other offices outside of policy in conjunction with HR.
  • Oversee inter-office transfers.
Alumni Relations:
  • Oversee alumni data tracking and updating OnePlace (CRM tool) along with the Program Coordinator.
  • Organize alumni events, newsletters and outreach.
Mentorship & Oversight:
  • Attend weekly check-ins with the management team and Senior Analyst /Senior Litigation Assistant teams to provide professional development, advice, and relationship building.
  • Attend recurring cross-department meetings.
  • Conduct bi-weekly 1:1 check-ins with Managers and Assistant Managers.
  • Attend ad hoc meetings with ALAs.
Internship Program:
  • Oversee LA and Analyst summer internship recruitment.
  • Provide weekly updates to FPs on Analyst & LA intern scope of work.
Other things to note:
  • 3 days a week in our NY office or limited travel to campuses/other offices as required.
  • A strong background in campus recruitment and professional development is essential.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting or law firms would be highly beneficial.


Company Description

At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is $135,000 (minimum) - $203,000 (maximum). This range is based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidate's actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market data.
