Job Description

Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. The Pharmacy department is responsible for ensuring that our patients receive safe and effective medication treatment by practicing high quality pharmaceutical care. We are expanding our pharmacy team in the outpatient infusion setting and are looking for a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to optimize and enhance the services we provide to our infusion patient population.

As the Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical care to our oncology and other infusion patients (focusing on the management of antineoplastic medications) while collaborating with physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, other healthcare staff, the patient and their familiy. In addition, you will participate in oncology pharmacy and therapeutics initiatives, system protocol development and other committee activities. We are looking for someone meticulous and attentive to pharmaceutical protocol, quality control and integrity and who shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
