Short Description

This Preadmission Nurse Coordinator II is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

  • Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.
  • Leadership may be remote; requires ability of expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level.
  • Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.
  • This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
  • Reviews patients' medical histories, including pre-existing conditions, allergies, medications, and previous surgeries, to identify potential risks or complications.
Experience Required
  • 1 year PAT RN required; 5 in clinical specialty
Education Requirements
  • BSN; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing
License/Certification Requirements
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Current NJ-ACLS
  • CNOR preferred, not required
Special Requirements
  • 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility. No weekends or holidays.
