Role Summary

The primary function of the Operations Assistant (OA) is to provide support for any aspect of the pharmacy outside of pharmacy technician duties. The OA will be responsible for ensuring files and paperwork are maintained and orderly at the direction of pharmacy leadership. The OA will also assist with any other needs throughout the pharmacy that are able to be delegated.

Job Activities and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are subject to change.
  • Organizing, labeling, and filing prescriptions
  • Organizing and filing of compounding records
  • Coordinates space and office organization
  • Creates, maintains, updates, and tracks confidential files/information ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepares reports, correspondence, and other documents as directed.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all Microsoft Office programs, Windows.
  • Ability to organize information & plan tasks with attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential materials/information appropriately.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
