We are currently seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist for our digital modernization sector. This role involves providing support services for information systems and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment. Key responsibilities include onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems, installation and maintenance of end-user workstations and related hardware and software, and collaboration with network administrators to ensure efficient operation. The role also involves documenting instances of desktop equipment failure, managing user accounts, and resolving technical issues.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Security+ CE Certification
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts
  • Able to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team
