Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing health maintenance and clinical management of stable chronically ill patients
  • Diagnoses and treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Initiates symptomatic treatment including worker's compensation cases
  • Performs periodic wellness evaluations and plans for employee health maintenance
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  • Educates patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Oversees day to day operations of clinic, open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm
  • Coordinates health and wellness planning with clinic and/or health staff and other appropriate personnel
Qualifications
  • Unencumbered License to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of AR
  • DEA prescriptive authority and ability to prescribe in the state of Arkansas
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an APRN, preferably in an industrial or occupational health setting
  • Family practice certified
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Education

Master's Degree in Nursing with Family Practice Board Certification
