JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, while meeting Marriott's world-class expectations. Your daily activities will include coordinating tasks and unblocking barriers related to technology projects at an enterprise level, ensuring seamless progress and timely completion. You will manage development sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment, running daily scrums, collaborating on requirement documentation, and keeping the team moving forward.
You will engage with key stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners, to provide regular updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Additionally, you will coach and collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and other Scrum Masters to foster decision-making and continuous improvement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required-
Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification.
-
7+ years' experience in applying Agile and Scrum principles within teams and/or organizations and using agile metrics to analyze and improve sprint planning.

7+ years planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
-
7+ years experience working within agile framework or method (ie SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and applying techniques such as story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection etc.

5+ years creating and delivering presentations, PowerPoint decks, and project plans.
-
2+ years working with tools such as Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Clarity and/or Cloud-based platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)

Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)

SAFe certified - SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master

Servant leadership experience as Scrum Master on an Agile Release Train

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Leading Organizational Delivery

Supports one or more software delivery team using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective

Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $190,154 annually.
Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $116,205 to $209,169 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.
Washington, D.C. Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $105,641 to $190,154 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
