Role: Engineering Project Manager Salary: up to £65,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus + benefits Location: Scotland (Aberdeen to Inverness and the islands) The Responsibilities for the Engineering Project Manager: Lead and manage complex engineering projects within the Oil & Gas Sector, from conception to commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and within allocated resources. Develop project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Annual CAPEX spend £10m + Oversee and manage the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, requirements, and standards. Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and third-party entities, fostering effective collaboration to achieve project objectives. Take ownership of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, implementing and managing Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) processes. Manage and control project costs, continuously monitoring budgets, and implementing corrective measures as required. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle. Utilise effective communication and leadership skills to manage project teams, motivating team members to achieve project milestones. Adhere to the principles of Construction Design and Management (CDM) to ensure the safe execution of construction projects. Requirements for the Engineering Project Manager: Hold a relevant engineering qualification and project management expertise Experience of using project management models such as Prince2 etc and software such as Microsoft project required. Significant project management experience with ability to manage numerous projects involving stakeholder engagement, budget control, customer outcomes and specified deliverables Experience of managing engineering projects within the transport fuel / Oil distribution/ EV or other high hazard sector Experience of multi project delivery within a high-risk profile organisation would be beneficial Experience of HSE management systems and permit to work processes and contractor management Knowledge and experience of working with CDM 2015 beneficial This is a great opportunity for a strong Engineering Project Manager with good technical background and a strong commercial acumen to thrive with a multi national business are being involved in major projects for the upcoming years.
