Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing specialized radiology procedures, assisting physicians during invasive procedures, and providing mentorship and support to staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
- Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT)
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
- Four (4) years prior experience as a Special Procedures Technologist
Principal Accountabilities
- Perform special/invasive radiology procedures while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures
- Mentor and support staff, introducing and demonstrating new techniques as necessary
- Review incomplete exams and unsigned reports routinely
- Act as a liaison between physicians, technologists, and department support staff
- Perform quality assurance on radiology equipment and maintain safety procedures for the department
- Manage supply inventory and take emergency call within the department
- Ensure safe and efficient care for patients, staff, and visitors
- Promote professional growth and development through preceptorship and mentoring
