Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Oversee internal audit processes and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance financial governance and risk management.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities.
  • Optimize financial operations through process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure financial alignment and support for operational goals.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the team's skills and knowledge remain current.
  • Collaborate with other directors and department heads to drive strategic initiatives and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing financial strategies and controls.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
