Description

This position is responsible for the creative development, production, design integrity, and effectiveness of a variety of marketing and communications assets across all channels, including website, emails, display ads, catalog, direct mail, and multi-media campaigns. Guides the evolution of design direction for a given brand or brands. Serves as a point person for general design and creative questions and issues.

Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Designs materials for various campaigns and promotions which include catalogs, print materials, web assets, email
  • Develops brand themes and promotional campaigns for seasonal style guides
  • Partners with the art directors, creative directors, management, and team members to understand business needs and marketing requirements and devise compelling design solutions to best meet those needs
  • Guides the development of fresh, high-quality design and typography that supports brand direction
  • Proactively seeks out ways to improve consistency and effectiveness of visual communications for the company
  • Identifies relevant media, technologies, and production processes that offer significant improvements in cost-effectiveness, production time, or impact
  • Stays informed about company products, current graphic design trends and tools, and industry developments that may lead to future visual communications opportunities
  • Manage tasks and schedules to meet all production and go-live deadlines
  • Visually proofs and verifies content of assigned items prior to release
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A degree in Graphic Design required. Preferably BFA or BA in Graphic Design
  • 2-4 years of graphic related experience desired
  • Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Mac OS platform experience a must
  • Prior experience working within an internal team of 3-5 members
  • Prior experience with prioritizing and multiple project schedules
  • Prior experience in streamlining and maintaining design and production processes
  • Ability to identify and interpret graphics design needs and develop creative and responsive design concepts
  • Working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals/principles which includes: typography, layout, and color theory
