Your Role and Responsibilities
The role has unlimited potential and is highly focused on driving strategic signings with our clients to adopt and expand IBM’s Watsonx.data, Cloud Pak for Data/Data Fabric and solutions around Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Replication, Data Virtualization, DB2, and other Information Architecture capabilities across their enterprise, and to deliver line of business focused solutions across the entire C-suite.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • You’re an entrepreneur - who likes to run a business and know that owning your own growth strategies and pipeline generation is fundamental to your success
  • Extensive experience with direct, face to face customer selling experience
  • Extensive experience in selling Data & AI and/or Business Automation solutions at a major software provider
  • Industry knowledge of IBM competitors in the market (Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, etc)
  • Strong technical understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Automation, RPA, Process Mining, Workflow
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Intimate knowledge of Data & AI Information Architecture marketplace and unique perspective on how to compete within it
  • Prior experience selling Data & AI solutions around Databases, Data Virtualization, Data Quality, Data Lakehouses, etc
  • Extensive experience in leading large complex deals and value-based selling with track record of overachieving quota.
