Position Summary:
As a Clinical Advancement Program Nurse, you will provide safe, direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, while also serving as a clinical mentor and leader for staff. Responsibilities include patient education, relief charge duties, and adherence to hospital policies. Patient care assignment may include various age groups.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Assisting physician with special tests, procedures, and treatments
  • Providing patient care and administering medications
  • Participating in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
  • Assisting in patient education and promoting self-management
  • Ensuring patient safety through proactive approach and reporting/correcting potential concerns

Qualifications:
Education:
Program Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years directly related experience. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or other Native American languages preferred.
Credentials:
CPR for Healthcare/BLS required. RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement by NM.
