Registered Nurses in the Oncology Inpatient setting have the opportunity to enhance their earnings by up to $8.00 through CAP levels based on educational achievements and national certifications.

Key Information:

  • Department: Adult Oncology
  • FTE: 0.90
  • Shift: Nights

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and direct nursing care to a designated group of patients.
  • Develop and document personalized care plans for each patient.
  • Assist in emergency situations or implement necessary emergency protocols.
  • Ensure a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Promote ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Adhere to all patient safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Encourage patient engagement in their own care processes.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or eligibility through reciprocal agreement.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Physical and Working Conditions:

Heavy work environment with potential exposure to biohazardous materials; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
