Hofanti Chokma Support Specialist

We are currently looking for a Full Time Hofanti Chokma Support Specialist to join our Hofanti Chokma Program Manager team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
The Hofanti Chokma ("Grow Well") program uses public health strategies and innovative community-clinic linkages to enhance care and support families, communities and programs in achieving population-level improvements in child development and relational health to facilitate lifelong wellbeing. The Hofanti Chokma Support Specialist supports data entry, routine office functions and community and workforce outreach activities for the Transforming Pediatrics for Early Childhood (TPEC) grant project.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains accurate and timely records of program contacts, event registrations, training participation, meeting attendances, and evaluation forms through the use of established database
* Optimizes data base and tracking practices on an ongoing basis
* Manages workshop or training registrations and follows up as needed with participants
* Coordinates trainings and other meetings as appropriate, including scheduling locations, providing information to attendees, and recording and distributing minute
* Performs data entry and validity checks for developmental screenings, training surveys and other data collected through program activities
* Assists with developing presentations
* Regularly monitors inventory levels of program supplies and reorders as needed
* Assists other Hofanti Chokma team members with community activities, data collection activities, cultural activities and other outreach as appropriate to support the success of the TPEC project
* Collaborates with internal and external partners to expand the reach and scope of both clinic and community-based promotion activities to support young child development and to strengthen families
* Participates in strategic planning activities and work plan development
* Attends events and activities regularly to form and maintain relationships and gather knowledge to support program activities and goals
* Maintains files, logs, and records
* Prepares reports as needed or requested
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
