The Quality Inn Detroit Downtown is seeking an engaging, friendly and detail orientated Front Desk and Night Auditor Associate. This individual will provide extraordinary service while creating memorable experiences for our guests filled with the highest quality of hospitality service. Our Night Auditor is also responsible for setting up breakfast each morning.

Responsibilities

Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow check in procedures

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks

Manage online and phone reservations

Handle incoming telephone calls and other guest communication in a discreet fashion

Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data

Register guests collecting necessary information

Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms

Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities

Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner

Communicate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean. Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner

Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services

Follow set polices

Be aware of local attractions and restaurants and make recommendations to guests

Accurately communicate with other shifts regarding issues arising from day to day operations

Customer service attitude

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Reliable transportation

Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with constant guest interaction

Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)

Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.

Valid driver’s license

Other duties as required
