As an Energy Efficiency Account Representative you will act as a key contact working with contractors, vendors, service providers, and utility customers to build relationships and maximize participation in energy efficiency incentive programs. Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach, educate and assist customers and contractors so they may effectively participate in and promote utility energy-efficient lighting programs.
- Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with customers and contractors.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to recruit new contractors and retain current contractors.
- Deliver sales and program training presentations to provide customers and contractors with an understanding of the value of incentive programs.
- Help contractors identify qualifying projects and associated incentives.
- Support application completion, submission, and follow up.
- Answer program inquiries
- Train and support contractors to use new software tools.
- Be familiar with lighting technology trends, market challenges, and opportunities
- Organize networking and training events for customers and contractors
- Other duties as assigned
