Job Description:

1. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using NodeJS framework, ensuring high performance and reliability.

2. Design, implement, and optimize databases and schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.

3. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services seamlessly with user interfaces.

4. Deploy and manage microservices on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.

5. Utilize Docker for containerization of application components, facilitating easy deployment and management.

6. Implement best practices for code quality, including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.

7. Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and ensure smooth operations in production environments.

8. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported in production, providing timely resolutions to ensure minimal downtime.

9. Documenting Node.js processes and database schemas, and preparing adequate reports

10. Working knowledge / experience of Python will be an added advantage
