Operations Support Specialist

The Operations Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in monitoring and optimizing day-to-day operations and the overall performance of South Central Clinics under the direction of the Administrative Chief of Staff. This position is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Administrative Chief of Staff and various stakeholders in the organization to drive progress with goals and initiatives within the SC Clinics as well as oversee coordination of projects that seek to ensure optimal delivery of patient care, patient access and operational efficiencies. The Operations Support Specialist will also assist the Administrative Chief of Staff with functional areas of marketing and physician recruiting, as well as work with the Graduate Medical Education staff on goals and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely completion of projects and initiatives; maintain project schedules and track progress
- Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to monitor key metrics for SC Clinics, Marketing, Physician Recruiting and Graduate Medical Education
- Generate and analyze operational reports relating to patient care, patient access, clinic productivity and revenue cycle
- Identify and investigate operational gaps in workflows and make recommendations on changes; assist with process improvement implementation and monitoring
- Assist in the design and implementation of strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Assists in the identification of operational risks and development of mitigation measures
- Supports the Administrative Chief of Staff with various administrative duties
- Other duties as assigned
Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred or 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate works well under pressure and within deadlines, demonstrates a high-level of organization and attention to detail, places an emphasis on quality and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
