What you'll be working on

Foundation Alloy is seeking a Product Manager to join our team. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development and successful launch of innovative metal alloy products that set new industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to guide our product strategy
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and roadmaps
  • Address user issues and gather feedback to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate ideas
  • Plan and execute successful product launches
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and understand key financial metrics
  • Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders, managing customer relationships professionally
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PhD) or MBA is a plus
  • 2-6 years of experience in product management, consulting, and/or marketing, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including executives, R&D, engineering, and business development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and gathering user feedback
  • Familiarity with operations, advanced manufacturing, and metallurgy a plus
