Summary/objective:

The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate and assist in related efforts for all stages of project pursuits within the marketing department. Key tasks include developing proposals, qualifications, and presentations as well as maintaining collateral and assisting relevant marketing functions. This position is extremely deadline-driven and requires a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Authoring, editing, and organizing the various components of a proposal/qualifications package to ensure content is comprehensive and client specific and in accordance with the DeSimone brand standards
  • Coordinate and track proposals (focus on RFP), ensuring consistency in branding, format, and content
  • Maintaining production calendars to meet deadlines and advise on production timelines
  • Coordinate with internal and external team members to obtain information required for proposal content, coordinate graphics, text, forms for final deliverable.
  • Provide strong editing and writing capabilities process including proofreading, editing for grammar, spelling, comprehension, consistency for technical and non-technical content needs.
  • Oversee and support proposal production, and assembling and delivering final documents
  • Develop and maintain various collateral, templates, and databases
  • Managing project and client data through new processes and/or in firmwide databases and marketing collateral
  • Develop and run reports in support of BD and CRM needs of the firm
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the marketing department
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in a related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in the Deltek suite of products (Vision or VantagePoint)
  • Experience using databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and exceptional grammar skills are CRITICAL to success
  • Strong organizational, file management, and time management skills

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000, dependent upon education, practical experience and geographic location.

At DeSimone, we believe in transparency when it comes to salary and hourly rates for our job postings. Our pay range represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that we think, in good faith, we might be willing to pay, for the posted job in the specified location(s).

For this particular position, we expect to hire near the middle of the range. To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the industry, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.

We understand that there may be rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position. In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
