We are seeking an Assistant Controller to actively contribute to building and growing the finance/accounting function to support the further expansion of the business. This individual will have a strong understanding of business metrics, budgets and variance reporting procedures. The Assistant controller must be accustomed to Work-in-Progress accounting within a construction services environment. This could include coming from the general contracting, specialty contracting and engineering services industry.
In the role of Assistant Controller, you will be a vital part of the finance team, reporting to the Controller. Your responsibilities will include cash management, financial report writing, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. With premium skills in SOX and IFRS, you will also contribute to regulatory reporting and balance sheet reconciliation. Your expertise in Acumatica, QuickBooks, and financial analysis will be essential for effective financial management. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required. Requirements
BS/BA degree in accounting
MBA preferred
CPA Required
WIP accounting experience is required
