As a Senior Power Platform Apps Developer at Booz Allen, you'll hone your skills in programming languages and databases, using little to no code to identify new techniques and improve the digital environment. You'll use the latest cloud tools as you look for ways to support your team and develop creative solutions. Using your technical knowledge and your appetite to learn, you'll work cross-collaboratively to automate and accelerate cloud modernization and reduce system maintenance and development costs. You'll be a trusted advisor to your clients as you translate their IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.Use your software support skills for good.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experiencedeveloping custom end-to-end solutions using the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to meet client requirements
  • Experience developing SharePoint Solutions
  • Experience visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights
  • Experience documenting improvements to business processes, workflows, and analytics
  • Experience applying user-centered design principles
  • Knowledge of database design principles and development of tables, functions, stored procedures, views, and indexes
  • Ability to work with web development tools and languages, including C#, JavaScript or jQuery, Angular, React, REST services, JSON, HTML5, XML, CSS3, or XSL
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the DoD, including the Navy
  • Experience with O365 and Flank Speed
  • Experience with process improvement approaches and methodologies, including Business Process Reengineering, Agile, or Continuous Process Improvement
  • Experience analyzing and managing data, including data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy, or data engineering
  • Experience crafting custom Power BI visualizations to answer questions and solve problems
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Databricks, or SQL for data engineering, and MS Dataverse
  • Ability to synthesize results and deliver presentations to product owners or stakeholders
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including for formal documentation of efforts, customer engagement, and to present complex technical solutions to non-technical staff or customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Microsoft certification, including Power Platform Certification, or DoD IAT Level II certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
