Required Skills/Responsibilities:

*SQL

*Cognos Development

• Power BI development/administration.

• Building Analysis Services reporting models.

• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.

• Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.

• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.

• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.

• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.

• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Cognos & Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.

• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

• Experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI.

Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years with visualization tool such as Cognos or Power BI (preferred).
  • 2+ years experience designing operational/tabular reporting.


Preferred Skills:

1. Power BI experience desired

2. Mortgage or financial services knowledge desired

3. Knowledge of AWS data technologies and building dashboard off of RedShift Spectrum, Athena, EC2, etc.

Soft Skills:

- Strong desire to learn new technologies and processes.

- Experience design and executing reporting and visualization platforms with clients.

- Good communication skills.

- Self-driven individual who can work with minimal direction

- Attention to detail
