ABOUT THE JOB
  • In Elizabethtown, we specialize in the production of Polyurethane and Thermoplastic Polyurethane belts for the general industrial market, as well as the personal mobility market (motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles)
  • Our process starts with raw materials, and utilizes our operators to perform key actions to create high quality belts. When finished, our belts are market with the Gates logo and shipped to customers around the world.
  • A Production Worker will spending most of their workday performing a range of functions including building, injecting, demolding, cutting, and packaging of products. In addition, workers are expected to monitor machine gauges, quality control, and adhere to safety standards
Job Requirements

ABOUT YOU
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work ANY shift
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme. Gates is managed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
