Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service for a food & beverage manufacturing company located in Foothill Ranch CA.

This is a Direct Hire position paying $24-34/hr, depending on experience. This is a Full-Time position, Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, Monday- Friday. Essential Responsibilities require you to be a key player in ensuring customer satisfaction and streamlining service processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customers' service expectations.
  • Maintains knowledge of products.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Serves as liaison with manufacturing, engineering, regulatory/quality and shipping personnel.
  • Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
  • Records or files copy of orders received.
  • Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
  • Computes price, discount, sales representative's commission and shipping charges as required.
  • Checks shipping orders to ensure they are accurate with regard to quantity shipped. This is done by comparing shipping documents with computer-generated reports.
  • Coordinates and follows full cycle process of incoming orders to pick up/delivery completion.
  • Receives and checks customer complaints.
  • Confers with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
  • Maintains customer name and address database.
  • Transmits new pricing, with the correct multiplier, to all customers.
  • Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes.
  • Serves as a backup for completion of all invoicing and shipping documentation.
  • Serves as a backup for the receipt and processing of customer purchase orders.
  • Additional duties related to the position, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Min 2 years of proven experience in customer service and logistics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
