Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with the sales department to exceed customer service expectations.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of product offerings.
  • Delivers prompt and precise information regarding customer order statuses and product inquiries.
  • Communicates service failures or customer issues to the company in a timely manner.
  • Acts as a liaison between manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and shipping teams.
  • Informs clients about pricing, shipping timelines, potential delays, and any other necessary details.
  • Records or archives copies of received orders.
  • Follows up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Calculates pricing, discounts, commissions, and shipping costs as needed.
  • Verifies shipping orders for accuracy in quantity shipped by comparing documents with reports.
  • Coordinates the complete cycle of incoming orders from initiation to delivery.
  • Handles customer complaints effectively.
  • Collaborates with production, shipping, warehouse, or carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Compiles data and prepares various reports for management review.
  • Maintains a database of customer contact information.
  • Communicates updated pricing to all customers accurately.
  • Generates correspondence to gather additional customer information for dispute resolution.
  • Serves as a backup for invoicing and shipping documentation processes.
  • Assists with the receipt and processing of customer purchase orders as needed.
  • Performs additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in customer service and logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: Up to $34.00 per hour
