Our client manufactures dosing components for automated production plants globally, showcasing expertise in automation technology.

The Sales Engineer position is based on site at the office near Atlanta, GA, with travel, following initial training in Germany.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious engineer with a background in automation, eager to transition into sales. Our client provides thorough sales training to ensure your success.

Summary:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in technical sales activities within this dynamic market.

Tasks:

  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand the company's customer base through client acquisition activities in your designated territory.
  • Open doors and build relationships with customers in electronic, automotive component, 3D printing, aerospace, material manufacturing, and machine integration sectors within the defined territory.
  • Understand complex problems and provide solutions.
  • Assist in the design and development of complex technical dispensing solutions across various high-tech industries (automotive, electronics, 3D printing, aerospace, etc.).
  • Collaborate with technical engineering teams in both the US and Germany.
  • Manage internal and external projects.
  • Generate quotes.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Attend relevant trade shows throughout the year.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, etc.) preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation. Sales experience is a plus but not required; extensive training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in all standard MS programs.
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
