Quality Technician

Job Description Summary
This posting is for a 3rd shift Quality Technician. The Quality Technician is responsible for helping to maintain quality standards of produced parts while adhering to the company policies and procedures.

Job Description

  • Regular part inspections on the floor and in the laboratories
  • Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
  • Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
  • Inspection and disposition of gages
  • Coordinating sort activities
  • Complete weekly LPAs
  • NCM inventory and organization
  • Meet time and schedule standards assigned for work
  • Identify and record any problems relating to product, process and quality system
  • Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency has been corrected
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • And any additional work required by your supervisor
Required Skills and Education
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality preferred and/or 3-5 years in the manufacturing field.
