Job Summary:This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are produced by maintaining inspection logs, performing various tests, and adhering to USDA and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and inspect products to check weight, pH, temperature, package integrity, and other quality parameters.
- Complete QA control charts and inspection log sheets.
- Verify packages and master cartons for proper coding and labeling.
- Report any detected abnormalities to the Lead, Supervisors, or Operators.
- Perform laboratory duties, including AOAC and CEM solids testing, viscosity, and swabbing program.
- Monitor label declared weights and foster open communications with all departments.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow and comply with company GMP policies.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
