Summary of Purpose:

The Enterprise Project Manager II is responsible for leading multiple teams to deliver project(s) that span across IT Infrastructure Services, and across the organization. Estimate and manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to Agile methodology framework and lifecycle control guidelines throughout the full infrastructure life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful project delivery. This role is responsible for driving processes, managing risk, and promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization at the highest level.

Essential Functions
  • Act as the Agile Kanban Project Manager for the Infrastructure Team, ensuring agile principles and practices are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach team members and other stakeholders in the adoption of Agile Kanban best practices and processes, as needed
  • Manage a cross functional team to deliver projects from inception to completion within scope, timeline, budget and quality
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including milestones and timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful project delivery
  • Generate necessary metrics for the Kanban teams
  • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Escalate project issues and risks timely and as necessary
  • Support product owners with various requirements gathering and scrum activities as needed
  • Be a goal driven program leader have a collaborative team-player attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • In depth understanding of program(s) in IT Infrastructure
  • Advanced ability to analyze data, trends, and complex problems to make informed decisions within program area
  • Advanced ability to perform research, analysis, and use stakeholder feedback to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards to inform program strategies
  • Ability to convey complex ideas and project strategies in a clear and compelling manner to project teams and senior leadership
  • Ability to foster collaboration across different departments or teams to harness collective creativity and drive innovation
  • Effectively manage tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines while proactively managing program risks
  • Advanced ability to work independently as well as in teams/groups
  • Advanced ability to work and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive/private information
  • Skilled in building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared goals for program success
Education, Licenses, and Certifications

Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or business administration
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL(x), Certified DevOps Professional (CDP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
Experience

Required
  • Six or more years' experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, Program Manager, ScrumMaster in an information technology environment
Preferred
  • Five or more years of managing multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects, with three or more years of extensive experience managing multiple infrastructure team/projects that consist of 2 to 4+ team members
  • Three or more years of experience managing dependencies from a roadmap standpoint to ensure delivery success
Additional Requirements

Work Context
  • Must be able to work prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
