We are seeking a full time BC/BE Nephrology physician to join our well-established, collegial group of 12 nephrologists and 9 advanced practice providers in Portland, Maine. For the successful candidate, this position offers:

  • Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
  • Competitive compensation package including relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, and malpractice insurance.
  • Our group is the largest in the region and provides a full array of clinical services that encompass acute and chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy, apheresis, critical care and interventional nephrology, kidney transplantation, renal sonography, and kidney biopsy.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification/Board Eligible.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the fellowship curriculum and evaluation system and ensuring the program meets all requirements as laid out by ACGME and Clinical Learning Environment Reviews.
  • Guide strategic planning for the ongoing growth and development of the Fellowship program, in collaboration with the Departments of Medicine and Medical Education.
  • Will devote 75% of their time to clinical effort in Nephrology.
