Nephrology Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Renal Dialysis department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in nephrology nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least one year of experience in nephrology nursing or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current National Certification in nephrology nursing or a related field.
