Job Title: HVAC Service Manager

Department: Service Field

Reports To: VP of Service

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime)

Location: Louisville, CO

Wage: $50.00-$65.00/hr. (Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Salary may be adjusted depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate)

Job Summary:

The HVAC Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service department. This role manages a team of service technicians, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of HVAC service technicians.
  • Collaborate and manage Dispatcher with service calls, work orders, and technician schedules
  • Ensure all service activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Monitor job progress, provide technical support, and deliver high-quality service.
  • Assist and perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Assist with reviewing and approving quotes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
  • Address and rectify any quality or performance issues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with at least three years in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
  • HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Must have an EPA Certification.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using service management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record under company policy
