Position Overview: As the Senior Manager, Sales for North America, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for our cutting-edge medical devices. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will lead a team of sales professionals, foster key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives to penetrate and grow the North American market.

  • Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve individual and collective goals.

  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and market segments, driving initiatives to expand our presence and increase sales volumes.

  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, healthcare providers, and distributors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators, analyzing data to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align efforts and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management, providing insights into market trends and competitive activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven track record of success in medical device sales, with at least 8 years of experience in a senior sales management role.

  • Deep understanding of the North American healthcare market, including regulatory requirements, reimbursement dynamics, and competitive landscape.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market research to drive strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach to business development.

  • Ability to travel extensively within North America as required.
