Position overview:
The Marketing Manager will plan, develop, and execute all marketing strategies for Austin Catholic High School, including day-to-day communication activities and community outreach. The manager will support and promote all school departments, including admissions, administration, advancement and alumni relations, academics, and athletics. This position manages the marketing and communications for Austin Catholic High School: school website, social media, press releases and school publications.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement a Master Marketing Plan for Austin that will effectively market Austin's history, mission, and future to all key stakeholders to enhance Austin's visibility and reputation, as well as increase student enrollment and donor revenue.
Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency in messaging.
Maintain and elevate Austin's brand identity across all marketing channels.
Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to address any negative feedback or misconceptions. Create, edit, and manage engaging content for all Austin communication channels including electronic communications (website/social media/electronic newsletters) and printed communications.
Maintain Austin's digital assets, including photos, videos, and graphics.
Analyze digital marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Work closely with the Director of Admissions to develop and implement strategies to attract prospective students AND their families and help coordinate and promote admission events.
Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to plan, promote and execute all admissions events, including open houses, student shadow days, campus tours, and outreach activities to showcase the school's offerings.
Collaborate with the Advancement Director to plan, promote and execute fundraising efforts and events such as the gala and annual golf outing. Assist in developing the messaging and collateral to support donor related activities, such as Annual Appeals, Capital Campaigns, etc.
Take, edit, and post photos from Austin events, including daily activities in and outside of the classroom, students, faculty, and alumni accomplishments, athletic events, club activities and alumni events, admissions events. Must be available weekends and nights as needed to cover special events and post follow-up photos/articles/updates as needed.
Continuously offer innovative ideas and tools to help promote past, present, and future ACHS students.
Cultivate positive relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to support Austin's initiatives.
Serve as a spokesperson for Austin, in conjunction with the school President, for media interviews, public appearances, and networking events.
Foster a sense of community and pride within the school among faculty, staff, students, and parents/guardians.
Create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional merchandise, ensuring that all materials accurately represent the school's values, programs, and achievements.
Be responsible for accuracy in information and proofreading of all distributed materials.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience in developing marketing plans, materials, and collateral.
Proficient in social media marketing techniques.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Publisher.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to develop timelines and meet deadlines with a strong attention to details.
Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
