Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data systems. This position involves inputting, updating, and verifying data in our databases to ensure that all information is current and reliable. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for technology, particularly with data management software, and have exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and update data into the company database accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify and correct data entries to maintain the integrity of the information.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist in generating reports based on the data collected and processed.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in data management processes.
  • Respond to data inquiries and provide necessary support to other departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data in accordance with company policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in data management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with data entry software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
