Orlando, United States Ultimate Staffing Full time

A large Aircraft Manufacturer in Orlando, FL is seeking a Data Entry Clerk.

Pay: $18 - $20/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  1. Assist quote process by maintaining proposal log, creating quotes, creating quote folders, and monitoring proposal status.
  2. Receive and process purchase orders by creating project folders, sales orders, department notices, and other duties associated with a new order.
  3. Create, update, distribute, and maintain work orders, work order grids, kit lists, kit labels, shipping pick tickets, and other document requests.
  4. Communicate with customer as required for order information, program status, program issues, and shipment notices.
  5. Interpret engineering data to enter part information, bill of materials, and work instruction templates in the inventory database.
  6. Support program management reviews as directed with the development of agendas, presentation slides, and the capture of meeting minutes.
  7. Assist Production/Purchasing Manager in obtaining required information to meet production/product delivery schedules. Develop and maintain daily production planning file in MS project.
  8. Assist as required with updates and distribution of weekly production schedules and customer MS project schedules.
  9. Assist as required with generating and/or updating of charts for cost analysis reporting.
  10. Represent the program management department in quality assurance initiatives and improvements.
  11. Maintain customer satisfaction reporting.
  12. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Manager and / or Human Resources.
  13. Develop a strong understanding of Company policies and procedures.

OTHER DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  1. Assist Accounting in developing MS Access database in support of company financial and accounting records.
  2. Act in the capacity of a Customer Service Representative and resolve customer concerns and requests.
  3. Interact with other departments to interpret the required data needed to create Work Orders / Bill of Materials.
  4. Advise Purchasing and Production Department personnel of changes that affect the products.
  5. Maintain and keep accurate files and records.
  6. Ensure information regarding pricing remains confidential and is shared only with designated staff members.
  7. Proactively participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and Company goals.
  8. Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager and / or Upper Management.
