Responsibilities:
  • Manage Labs: Oversee equipment, ensure safe operation according to ABET standards, train personnel, and maintain inventory.
  • Coordinate Curriculum: Collaborate with instructors to implement the laboratory curriculum and ensure alignment with lectures.
  • Support Faculty & Students: Assist faculty and students with projects, laboratory activities, and address student inquiries.
  • Ensure Lab Safety: Implement and enforce safety rules, maintain lab records, and support research and teaching activities.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Work effectively with department chairs, faculty, and staff.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a laboratory setting relevant to Electrical and Computer Engineering disciplines (e.g., electric circuits, electronics, control systems, digital systems, etc.).
  • Ability to build basic and complex electrical systems
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email) and basic computer networking concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
