Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant II to provide comprehensive secretarial, clerical, and administrative support for our corporate office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative support and related duties which are broad, varied, and often of a complex/confidential manner such as handling telephone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, completing Expense Reports, composes/types of correspondence, etc.
- Assist with various meetings/minutes (e.g., Management-Staff Meeting, Operations Meeting, etc.).
- Assist with department's efforts on scheduling activities including client visits travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, agendas, etc.
- Maintains departmental files including but not limited to training files, client contract files, and project files.
- Work the front desk & switchboard.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- Associate degree, Fortrea Patient Access may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- Requires unquestionable customer service skills, meticulousness, and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- Ability to type 50 wpm preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer applications.
- Requires great attention to detail. Personal characteristics (leadership, problem solving, interpersonal skills)
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 1-2 years in an administrative support role.
- Knowledge of science or a scientific background is preferred.
- Additional experience may be substituted for education requirements.
