Living Innovations provides support to people with disabilities to have a good life at home and in the community

As a community living coordinator for Living Innovations you will be responsible for supporting Living Innovations mission, vision, and values within the region you are responsible for. To accomplish this you must serve as a role model for LI's values (as outlined on our website) and provide leadership, supervision, professional development and growth opportunities to all assigned staff. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of all services and programs for individuals supported in your region. Customer service will be crucial in your new role. You will be responsible for a positive and productive program with overall morale of staff and satisfaction for the individuals and families supported.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • One year of experience in this or related position in a social service or healthcare setting
SKILLS:
  • Ability to make wellreasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to use effective written/verbal communication skills with coworkers, family members, guardians, and individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must possess effective coping skills, such as flexibility in dealing with issues typical to a social service setting
  • Ability to resolve or facilitate the resolution of complex problems
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards related to services provided by the organization
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid state issued drivers license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration
  • Must pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
  • Certifications will vary per state regulation and program needs
